Did you know that even Santa has a daily exercise routine? It’s true! Before he can deliver all those presents, Santa needs to be fit and strong. With millions of mince pies to eat on Christmas Eve, he has to keep up with some healthy habits—and Elf Holly is there to ensure he sticks to them!
Stretching Like a Reindeer
Santa’s day begins with some stretches to get his body warmed up. Elf Holly, in charge of Santa’s fitness, tells him to stretch like a reindeer reaching for a carrot! Santa raises his arms and wiggles his fingers, just like reindeer antlers. Then he stretches to the side to pretend he’s grabbing gifts off high shelves. “Perfect warm-up, Santa!” cheers Elf Holly.
The Present Lift
Next up, it’s time for some strength training! Elf Holly brings in a big box of presents (not the real ones, of course!) for Santa to lift. Santa bends down and carefully picks up the box, practising the same moves he’ll use on Christmas Eve. Each lift makes Santa laugh as he imagines delivering gifts around the world. “That’s the spirit, Santa!” says Holly.
Dashing Like a Sleigh
Santa’s favourite part of his workout is pretending he’s flying in his sleigh! Holly tells Santa to dash across the room like he’s guiding his reindeer through the sky. Santa zooms, hops, and even shouts, “Ho, ho, ho!” as he runs around. It’s a good way to practice staying quick on his feet, and Holly says it’s the perfect exercise to keep Santa ready for his big journey.
A Final Stretch and a Big Smile
After all that activity, Santa ends his workout with a relaxing stretch and a big smile. Holly cheers, knowing Santa will be ready to take on Christmas Eve. “Don’t worry, Santa,” she says. “You’ll earn all those mince pies!”
Santa’s daily exercise is another way he’s getting ready for Christmas. Staying fit helps him deliver joy to children everywhere, and he can’t wait to start!
